Introduction Lesson : SAP the Company

1.      Tahun berdiri SAP dan dimana ?
-Didirikan pada tahun 1972 oleh 5 mantan karyawan IBM di MannheimJerman.

5.      Menjelasakan konsep dan sejarah ERP system !
- Enterprise resource planning, adalah sistem informasi yang diperuntukkan bagi perusahan  maupun jasa yang berperan mengintegrasikan dan mengotomasikan proses bisnis yang berhubungan dengan aspek operasi, produksi maupun distribusi di perusahaan bersangkutan.
ERP berkembang dari Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP II) yang ber-evolusi dari Material Requirement Planning (MRP) yang berkembang sebelumnya. Sistem ERP secara modular biasanya menangani proses manufaktur, logistik, distribusi, persediaan (inventory), pengapalan, invoice, dan akuntansi perusahaan. Ini berarti bahwa sistem ini nanti akan membantu mengontrol aktivitas bisnis seperti penjualan, pengiriman, produksi, manajemen persediaan, manajemen kualitas, dan sumber daya manusia.


6.      Jelasakan perbedaan antara SAP sebagai solution dan sebagai application
-SAP sebagai solusi merupakan software yang digunakan sebagai penyedia solusi yang akan membantu perusahaan, pada umumnya jenis solution ini di awali dengan “my” (mySAP).
SAP sebagai aplikasi merupakan software yang digunakannya pada umumnya jenis aplikasi tidak diawali dengan kata “my”.

You can find information about the company and its product, services, and partners (www.sap.com). the menu path within the portal is easy to follow. if you cannot find information directly from the selection menu, you can use the search function. many cuetomer also want to receive local offers and information in their own language. customer can choose from a number of country specific SAP portal.

-As the leading global provider of enterprise software SAP has a resposibility to ensure that its business processes are smooth and tranperent. Howaver SAP dose just have responsibilities to its customer and partners but also to society in general.
